Privacy Policy

Konektr ("Konektr", "we", "us") is a connector that lets you and your team use your own Google marketing data inside AI assistants such as Claude (by Anthropic) and ChatGPT (by OpenAI). This policy explains what information Konektr handles when you use the website konektr.io and the service at app.konektr.io, and how you control it.

Google API Services: Limited Use. Konektr's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

1. Information we collect

Your sign-in details. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name and confirmation that the email is verified. We use these to identify you and check which businesses you have been invited to.
Business and team settings. The businesses you create, the people invited to each one and their roles, and settings such as currency, market and budget limits.
Platform connections. When an owner or manager connects a login to a business (Google, Meta for Facebook and Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Microsoft Advertising, Bing Webmaster Tools, Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Ads or a public Medium profile), we store a name or email that identifies the login, the permissions granted and the access and refresh tokens or API keys the platform issues. Tokens and keys are encrypted before they are stored.
Account list. The names and IDs of the accounts a connected login can access (for example Search Console properties, Analytics properties, ad accounts, Facebook Pages, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, YouTube channels and online stores), and whether each is switched on for the business.
Daily snapshots. For platforms that only report current totals (such as follower counts), we keep one small daily record of those numbers so trends can be shown.
Activity log. A record of changes made through Konektr, such as a review or comment reply, a post, a pin, a sitemap or URL submission or a campaign or budget change, including who approved it and when.

2. Google user data and how we use it

With your permission, Konektr requests access to these Google services: Search Console, Google Analytics (read only), Google Ads, Business Profile, Merchant Center and Tag Manager (read only). We use this access only to:

list the accounts a connected Google login can see, so an owner can choose which belong to each business;
fetch the reports and data that you or your team ask for in Claude, and return them to your own AI assistant conversation;
make a change you have explicitly approved after seeing a preview, such as replying to a review, publishing a post, submitting a sitemap, pausing or enabling a campaign, changing a budget or adding negative keywords.

Report data fetched from Google is processed when you ask for it and passed to the AI assistant session you connected. Konektr does not keep copies of these reports. The assistant processes what it receives under your own agreement with its provider (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT).

We do not:

sell Google user data or any other personal information;
use Google user data for advertising, including retargeting or interest-based advertising;
use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models;
allow people to read Google user data, except with your consent for a specific item (for example a support request), where needed for security or to comply with the law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations;
transfer Google user data to anyone except as needed to provide the features you use, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.

2a. Data from other platforms

The same rules apply to every other platform you connect. Konektr uses data from Meta (Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads and Meta Ads), LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Microsoft Advertising, Bing Webmaster Tools, Shopify, WooCommerce and Amazon Ads only to show the reports you open, answer the questions you or your team ask in your AI assistant, and make changes you approve (for example publishing a post or replying to a comment). We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, use it to train AI models, or combine it across businesses. Report data is fetched when requested and cached for a short time (minutes to hours) to limit API usage; it is not kept as a permanent copy. Each platform's own terms and policies also apply, including the Meta Platform Terms, LinkedIn API Terms, X Developer Policy, Pinterest Developer Guidelines, TikTok Developer Terms and the YouTube Terms of Service (YouTube data is accessed through YouTube API Services; see also the Google Privacy Policy).

3. Who can see your data

Inside Konektr, data is separated by business. People only see the businesses they have been invited to, and within a business only the accounts the owner has switched on. A Google login connected "privately" is visible only to the person who connected it. Platform administrators can manage all businesses to operate and support the service.

We use these service providers to run Konektr. They process data only on our instructions:

Hostinger: the server that runs the Konektr application.
Supabase: the database that stores the information in section 1 (hosted in India).
Google: sign-in and the Google APIs you connect.
The platforms you connect (Meta, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, Microsoft, Shopify, Amazon and your own WooCommerce store) receive the API requests needed to fetch your reports or make approved changes.

4. Security

Connections use HTTPS. Google tokens are encrypted with a key held only on our application server. The database is not exposed to the public internet API and is reachable only by the application's own restricted database user. Changes to your Google accounts always require a person's approval and are logged.

5. Keeping and deleting data

Disconnect a login at any time in the Konektr panel (Connections tab). We revoke the token with the platform where it supports this and delete it together with the account list for that login.
Remove Konektr from a platform: Facebook (Settings > Security and login > Business integrations), Instagram (Settings > Apps and websites), Threads (Settings > Account > Website permissions), LinkedIn (Settings > Data privacy > Permitted services), X (Settings > Security > Connected apps), Pinterest, TikTok, Shopify or WordPress (delete the Konektr key under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API). When a platform tells us you removed Konektr, or when you email us, we delete the stored tokens and account data for that login within 30 days.
Revoke access from Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Konektr will stop being able to use that login.
Delete a business: a platform administrator can delete a business, which revokes its Google logins and removes its data.
Delete everything about you: email us and we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep a record.

We keep information only as long as your account or business is active, and activity logs for as long as the business exists.

6. Cookies

The Konektr panel uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in for up to 12 hours. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Konektr is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell account owners about significant changes before they take effect.
