Connect carefully.
Get to your first report.

Follow the setup route for your platform, verify account access and start with a read. Credentials belong in the portal’s secure connection forms, never in chat or support email.

One project for each business.

  1. Create an account or sign in to Konektr.
  2. Create a business project with its display name, currency and region. A project keeps accounts, roles and reports in one business context.
  3. Open Connections and choose a source. Complete its own authorization flow.
  4. Choose discovered accounts and enable the ones you need.
  5. Open a source report, or choose a Report Studio template.

A login is not the same as an enabled account.

Connect a provider login

The provider grants specific scopes. Missing scopes or provider review blockers may prevent reads or writes.

Enable the correct accounts

Discovery may return several properties, profiles or stores. Enable the intended accounts in the correct business.

Give teammates the right role

Invite people as owners, managers or viewers. Project membership and private-connection visibility determine access.

Add Konektr to a compatible client.

https://app.konektr.io/mcp
  1. Use your client’s custom remote connector setup and enter the endpoint.
  2. Complete Google or Konektr password sign-in with the identity that has project access.
  3. Ask for your available businesses, then specify the business in each investigation.
  4. Ask for available accounts and capabilities before requesting a report or action.

Public address, authenticated data

The URL is intended to be shared. Data requests require valid authentication and business access. Konektr authenticator MFA applies to MCP password sign-in when enabled. Google sign-in follows Google account security; protect that account separately.

Client menus and plan requirements can change. Compatible remote transport and OAuth are required; not every MCP client is verified.

Read first. Preview the change. Approve it.

  1. Open Actions or ask your AI client for the business’s supported capabilities.
  2. Choose an entity you can access and run the read operation.
  3. Request a write preview. Review the target, fields, budget or content carefully.
  4. Explicitly approve that exact change. Viewer access cannot authorize writes.
  5. Check Activity for the attempt and result; do not assume an API timeout means failure.

Find the blocker before repeating setup.

I signed in but cannot see a project.

Check that you used the invited identity. Account registration alone does not grant access to someone else’s projects.

The account is missing from reports.

Check the selected business, provider scopes, connection status and enabled-account picker. Private connections may be visible only to their owner.

WordPress or WooCommerce will not connect.

Use HTTPS and verify the authenticated API is accessible. WordPress uses a revocable Application Password or supported WordPress.com authorization. WooCommerce uses store authorization. See the setup guides.

My report totals do not match.

Compare reporting periods, time zones, currencies, metric definitions and source update dates. Konektr does not promise cross-source attribution or identical platform totals.

A write is unavailable.

Check your role, provider write consent, enabled writes and exact operation coverage. A reporting connector is not evidence of complete management support.
